The kids aren't sleeping great the last week or two and are a bit tired. Sometimes they wake at night and have to go potty. Other times, they just need a quick snuggle. Then this morning at 5 AM, I woke to the sound of Gordon's voice, "I am Sam. Sam I am. That Sam I am....." I went in to find him up and reading Green Eggs & Ham by Dr. Seuss. I convinced him to lay down to read quietly and he fell back asleep in minutes. Jeff told me later that he thinks Gordon had been awake for a while before we heard him. Jeff woke up to a strange sound and thinks it must've been Gordon turning the pages in his book. What a cutie!
Adele's having a crabby phase after her week+ sweetie-pie phase. I'm wondering if she's getting ready for a growth spurt. She sure is packing away the food right now!
Walter is such a happier boy now that he's potty-trained. He's off his daily laxative and he's so much more comfortable all the time. It makes my life a lot easier now they are all potty trained. There are things that take a little longer, but kinda like when we gave up bottles, the things that are harder don't bother me as much as the bottles & the diapers did.
