During our time in the Midwest, my parents booked us for two nights at the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. It is HUGE with multiple indoor and outdoor waterparks, arcades, and play areas. The kids are having a blast!
The first day, we arrived in the Dells by 2:30. We had to wait in a long line at check-in, but were able to get our rooms. We dressed and went straight down to the nearest waterpark.
I'm at the bottom, waiting for Walter to come down the slide.

After dinner the first night. A buffet where the kids eat free!
Waving from the balcony of our rooms. My parents and I have adjoining rooms, which has worked out great.
Tuesday morning, the kids slept until 7:15, then we ate breakfast in the room. After we were ready to go, we took the shuttle to the ferry, then the ferry over to a far away part of the resort. The kids LOVED the ferry ride. And the waterpark, of course.

10:30am and the kids were ready to sleep!
After a pizza lunch, the kids were ready to get back in the pool. Here's Adele, shooting a basket.
Gordon giving it a try. This was a fun game because the kids would throw the ball, then they'd swim after it, and wait until it was their turn to be held up again. It really wore them out!
And here goes Walter!
After Cubby's cove, we headed back to our area of the hotel. The kids had a snack, then we changed into fresh swimsuits. We went to the Klondike, which is only one building over.
This water slide was a very big one. I wasn't sure the kids would go on it, but then we saw a very young boy, so I sent them up. They came down with HUGE smiles. Here's Adele.
Gordon with the HUGE grin.
Happy Walter
We spent a lot of time on the lazy river. Grandpa and I took the kids together a couple times and I also took each kid by myself. It was a lot of fun! This is me with Walter.
We spent two hours at the Klondike, then went back to the buffet for dinner. After that, we headed back to the Wild West play place. We'd gone there the night before and hit the arcade after, so we stuck with that plan tonight. This play place is amazing!
The kids and I are in the midwest visiting our cousins. Since we are only five hours away, my friend, Amy, brought her kids out to Chicago from Windsor. We all stayed the night at a hotel and spent as much time together as possible over the two days. The kids got along famously and had a blast. We swam in the hotel pool, had a sleepover, and went to a play place. It was so much fun!! And I loved being able to finally chat with Amy in person.
Amy and the kids met us at Matt's house.
Then we headed to the hotel to swim. Gordon, Adele, Ellie, and Autumn were all giving Walter advice on how to best blow up the beach ball.
Watching a little tv before going downstairs for pizza dinner.
After dinner, we took the kids for a little walk. When Ellie fell down, all the kids were very concerned and had to check on her.
Run, crazy kids, run!
We stuffed the kids into one room to watch shows while the adults hung out in the other room.
Eventually, they all fell asleep
The next morning, we took them swimming after breakfast.
Little fish
Gordon asked me to take his photo.
After our morning swim, we went to an awesome play place between the hotel and my brother's house.
Gordon found the piano right away.
Awesome ball shooters
Driving tractors
Cousin Laurie playing a song for Evan and Kate.
After lunch, Grandma and Grandpa bought the kids their choice of cotton candy or ice cream. Adele chose cotton candy.
Gordon also chose green cotton candy
Walter chose bubble gum ice cream. I also got some -- caramel banana praline. NOM
The kids would chase and jump on the balloons projected onto the floor. The balloons would burst into (video) confetti.
We went to play at another triplet household. Two other sets of triplets were also invited, as well as one baby brother. There were thirteen kids total for only four moms. The kids had a blast swimming, playing, and then vegging out in front of (part of) a movie.
All the kids, ready to swim.
