Christmas Mayhem

The kids woke on Christmas morning and we fed them breakfast. We'd set up the play yard around the tree and after breakfast, that's where we took the kids. They went straight for all the presents!

Santa brought a Zany Zoo, and I'd say it was a big hit!

December Grandparents Visit

Well, we survived the time without Dad. The kids learned to FaceTime while he was gone and Adele would say 'dada' every time I gave her the iPhone. She and Walt would point at Jeff's face on the screen and wave back at him. Gordon just tried to eat the phone.

The weather turned chilly, so we had to bust out the winter pajamas.

We also had a few mishaps. Walter got into the wipes and had a blast.
I think Gordon grew a quarter of an inch while Jeff was gone. Suddenly he is standing SO tall.

I took fun videos to send Jeff while he was away. This was a cute-for-all at breakfast one day.

Adele started showing off her new communication skills.

My parents arrived and the kids were sick again. We spent a lot of time snuggling.

We got a photo of Grandma with the kids decked out in their Green Bay Packer gear.

Gordon started using the walker and is getting pretty good at it.

While Adele's communication is improving daily.

Walt is doing more & more problem solving -- stacking rings, nesting cups, figuring out how toys works. He loves giving me a toy and watching how I play with it, then I give it back to him so he can 'do it.'

We took the kids back to Lakeline Mall today to play and have lunch.

We're going to have to get Adele her own iPod.

And Gordon has started practicing standing.

The kids are still happiest when eating. Here's snack time.

And they all swarm to me when I bring out the string cheese.
