A new way to run errands

Today I took the kids out to run errands. I've gotten in the habit of running one errand with the kids unless they can stay in the car because it has always been such a hassle to get them in and out and deal with strollers (or carts or what have you.) But they can now get themselves in and out of the car and mind rather well, so I decided to run a bunch of errands that required driving to multiple places and getting in/out of the car multiple times. I can't say it was stress-free, but overall it went great! Plus, we got to meet Jeff for lunch, which the kids loved.

Getting ready in the morning. Kids LOVED their matching Thomas the Train shirts.

Our first stop was SuperValu here in town, just to pick up a few items. The kids were happy to push their carts.

After check-out, Gordon was very mad that I made him put the cart back. He wanted to keep shopping.

Our next stop took us into Limerick and to one of our favorite coffee & muffin shops for a quick snack. Then we walked all the way to the opposite end of the strip mall for cat food. That was probably the toughest part because Walter was freaked out by the traffic (though we were on the sidewalk) and Gordon was being a bit stubborn. But overall, not too bad!

Next we drove to Castletroy (in Limerick) and went to the shopping centre to get Adele new shoes. She loves them!

Jeff met us for lunch at the McDonalds in the parking lot of the shopping centre.
