One of my OB's partners was on call the other day and stopped by to talk to me. As I've mentioned the nurses monitor the babies' heartrates twice a day, looking for strong, steady heartbeats and accelerations as the babies react to the stimuli around them. The doctor told me all three babies are strong and reactive and they are tracing well ahead of their gestational age. Remember, they also measured ahead of their gestational age at their last sonogram. This is all fantastic news for when they are born!!
My dad sent me a few other photos. Here I am at only a couple days old.

This next photo is another one of my mom. This was taken only days before she gave birth to me. We all agree she got bigger with my brother, but she still looks like she's carrying more than one baby!!

Everyone keep your fingers crossed for my tests later this week!
Fingers crossed. xx Happy to read that Walter, Gordon and Adele are doing so well. They are going to be strong little people. Cute photos. :-)
ReplyDeletesince Jeff and you are taller than everage it is only natural that your little ones are as well - another day closer to your goal -

Mary -- That's all we can hope for! Strong, happy babies.
ReplyDeleteArancha -- Thanks for stopping by. Every day with babies inside is a great day. Love to you, Markus & Elsa.
Again, back in the dark ages, before the ultrasounds etc, when Blake and Paul were born, the doctors agreed that they would wait and see if a second one came out since both of them were so big. I was like your Mom. Us short people don't have much room for babies to grow except out in front!

Yay Joey - sounds great so far. You should be at about 31 weeks now right? One more to go... I'm hoping everything is excellent and they can grow a little more, but so far so good.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the good news. You're doing great, mama!
ReplyDeleteHoldin' steady! (I admit, I keep expecting to log on to baby pix. But I think belly pix are good for now.)
ReplyDeleteT- I'll be 31 weeks tomorrow (Thursday). Babies are still looking good!
ReplyDeleteLisa -- Thank you so much!! And thanks again for the flowers and kitteh puzzles/pics. I've gotten lots of compliments on them.
Jess -- That's my plan! My MFM told me to keep doing what I'm doing, laying still and gestating. My OB says "Stay boring". LOL!
