Elf on the Shelf project

On December 1st, our Elf on the Shelf, Joyful returned. Last night, Joyful stayed up late doing a Christmas craft and made a paper chain. He also brought each of the kids a little Swingline stapler so they could make their own. The project was a huge hit. Adele picked up on the technique right away. The boys took a little longer, but they got it, too. Walter loved making his so much that he kept working long after the other two were done and told me he was going to make the longest chain ever. Both boys kept holding theirs up to measure and see if the chain was longer than they were tall.
