Amazing Jake's

Today I had planned to pick up the kids from school, bring them home for lunch, and then finish up cleaning. After that I was thinking we'd do something here in the neighborhood. Instead, my friend mentioned they were heading up to this place called Amazing Jake's Food & Fun for the afternoon, so we decided to tag along.

The kids had a great time. We'll probably wait until they are a bit older before going back, but it was fun!

We first sat down and ate lunch at the all-you-can-eat buffet. The kids got ice cream at the end.

Our admission included unlimited rides. The first one we tried was the carousel.

Gordon's ready to ride.

This moved pretty fast for a carousel!

Next we went on the train ride. Adele wanted to be the driver.

Train ride!

I didn't see this coaster thing go before I let the kids on it. And the kids met the height & age restrictions for riding alone. So I was a bit shocked when it started up! Walter loved it. The other two weren't upset at all, but also didn't enjoy it.

Finally, the tea cups ride, they called them chocolate cups. The kids loved this one.
