Yay for Halloween 2013

The kids wanted NOTHING to do with dressing up last year, so I was trying not to get my hopes up for this year. But they were completely into it! We had our first dress party the Saturday before Halloween. Then the kids had a dress-up party at the creche on Halloween. I picked them up from there, then took them straight to another party. That evening we just put on hoodies for their first-ever trick-or-treating adventure. It was fun!

These first three photos are from dressing up for our Saturday party.

Princess Adele. I had to force the dress on her, but she put the tiara on by herself and I just about melted from the cuteness when I turned around and saw her.

Ready to party! We gave Adele a different princess dress because the other one wouldn't stay on very well.

Aoife had a piano at her house and the kids just loved it.

Trick-or-treating at the neighbors. At first, the kids just went in, thinking we were going for a visit. As soon as they got the candy and we said we'd go trick-or-treat at another house, the concept clicked and they were all in.

Checking out their bounty. We only went to three houses this year between the 'newness' and the rain. Next year, I have a feeling they'll be dragging us all over.
