All 3 kids are full-time in underwear. Walt's still the newest, so we're still working with him (less than a week), but he seems to have the hang of it overall and should be accident-free soon enough.
All 3 kids are also talking up a mile a minute. Picking up Walt from the creche the other day, I noticed a mark on his cheek. I ask (like I always do), "Walter, what happened to your cheek?" For the first time, I was given an answer. "Ouchie. Walter fall down. Walter outside. Walter fall down outside. Ouchie." Later that night, he called out for me. I rush into the room, "Walter, what's the matter?" "A bug. Saw a bug. 2 bugs." I think he'd had a nightmare. He's really afraid of bugs.
Gordon is still VERY into books and singing. He'll often read the books along with me or read them to me. He's also very chatty. And he's learning the art of negotiation. If I say, Gordon, you can have this, if you do this. He'll often go for it. Or he'll try to negotiate back with me for more time doing what he wants. It can be frustrating, but I love to see the way his little mind works.
Adele is going through a big sweetheart stage. She loves handing out the goodbye hugs and kisses to the teachers when we leave the creche. She also randomly comes up to me for hugs and to tell me "Hi, Mama. I'm happy to see you." She's also turned into boss lady. She repeats my instructions, gets really upset with them for doing stuff they aren't supposed to do, and bosses them around (and me, too.). "C'mon, Mama. This way." "Oh, shoot, honey. What a mess." My words = her mouth.
We are dealing with a lot of tantrums, a lot of no's, and a lot of stubbornness. I'm also able to do so much more with them. We've been to the movies, we go out to eat, and I can take them on trips to the store sans stroller and they mind really well. So, it's a tradeoff for sure!

The neighbor boys come over to play. Walt and Gordon LOVE it. Adele really likes the boys, but lately, all 4 guys have been getting rougher in their play with each other and she wants no part of it.

I decided to take the kids to the toy store today. They had a blast!

One of the toy store finds was new backpacks. They all chose Pixar Cars. We can use them to take stuff to & from the creche and they'll come in handy on a few trips we have in the Fall & Winter

The main reason we went to the toy store. I was tired of the kids all fighting over our one Magna Doodle. And these were about 1/2 the price of what they were last time I looked for them!
While at the toy store, I found this amazing Play Doh set that had all kinds of plastic cut outs and press pieces and things to use with play doh. It came with 45+ pieces, more play doh, and was really cheap. A great find!
Every night now, after dinner and before showers, the kids strip down to their underwear. This gives them a magical super power boost of energy and they run around like maniacs.
Just for fun -- Dancing Gordon!

Well too darn cute. It's so great that you share so much with us Joey. We love these little one's like they're our own. You're doing a bang up job! And it's a BIGGG job to do!

LOL! Is THAT all it takes? I'll have to try that next time I need a boost :)
I wish it worked for adults. It seems to be a magical toddler ability only.
