Tricycles!

Grandma Elaine and I got the kids tricycles. She had the suggestion of Thomas the Train, which I knew the boys would love.  I found two Thomas the Train and one pink one at the local toy store in Nenagh. Jeff and I then put them together during the evenings and hid them out in the shed.

Today, we took the kids outside and introduced them. They don't have the concept of pedaling, so the parent poles are very helpful.  Adele did manage to figure out how to push herself with her feet off the ground, too.

Next we'll pick them up some helmets and pads. They don't need them, but Jeff thought it would be a good idea to get them used to wearing them for when they do need them.

I would push Walt around and say "Fast, fast." He LOVED that.

Playing in the garden. Jeff was shocked when he turned around to find Gordon had headed up the stairs. I realized the kids and I have been out in the yard a lot the last couple weeks and Jeff hadn't seen Gordon taking on the stairs by himself yet.
