Loving the warmer days!

The kids still seem to be battling one cold after the other, but I'm really hoping with the warmer weather, we'll start seeing those colds come to an end. We are also loving being able to get out in the yard and out for walks.  The weather is almost warm enough to go without a coat, but when the sun goes behind a cloud or the wind picks up, the jacket definitely is a must. 

This time we walked back down to our friend Nellie's street. It was a 10 minute walk that took an hour, but we had a great time. There was a little difficulty at the end as the kids got tired, but overall, a fun time. Gordon outpaced us on the way home and marched right to the house and in the front door before Adele and I got to the driveway. I guess he was just done!

Gordon saw that puddle of water, knew that was their friends' house (the older neighbor boys), and decided he didn't want to move anymore

Up the street from our friend, Nellie's house. The kids were each on a utility cover pretending it was a trampoline. None of those covers seemed inclined to move without a crowbar, so I thought it was safe enough.
