After breakfast, we loaded the kids in the car and drove to Adare. This is a small town on the other side of Limerick (where Jeff works). It is a tourist destination and popular place for people to stay. We looked at living there, but there aren't many houses to rent in the area. I've wanted to go there ever since Jeff took a trip over here and came back with a bunch of gorgeous photos of the town.
We parked near the heritage center and Holy Trinity Abbey Church.

| A big "Hooray" at the end of "Happy and you know it" |
We headed across the street to Adare Park. It was a lovely, green and spread out area.

| Gordon and Adele |
We let the kids out of their strollers and they ran around like crazy. Even when we play in the yard at home, they run for a while, then sit and play, then run, then sit. However, we let them out in this big green area and they went nuts. Walter ran around for almost 45 minutes straight. I'm pretty sure he was exhausted afterwards.

| Gordon running, blanket held tight! |

Adele having fun near the dirt. She was an absolute mess when we left. Good thing I brought spare clothes! |
| Walt on the go |
| Adele is determined to catch that bird! |

Jeff and I played zone defense, signaling to each other when one of the kids made it into our area |
| After all the running, the kids needed a little snack. The birds wanted in on that, too. |
| Trying to get a photo of the flowers outside a gift shop, the kids weren't really cooperating. |

| The Blue Door restaurant |
| Ruins on the grounds of Adare Manor and golf course |
| Adare Manor, in the rain |
| Lunch at the restaurant in the Adare Golf course clubhouse. The kids were pretty tired, but they did okay. Notice EVERYTHING is moved out of their reach! |
| Walking back to the car. The town got very busy! |
