Four Winds -- Our House

We got our furniture last week and we have all but one of the rooms set up. So I finally decided to take some photos to give everyone a 'tour' of the house. I only did the downstairs because that is where we are doing all of our daily living. The upstairs is where guests can sleep and we store a few things.

First you walk in the front door to this entryway.

I love this landing that looks over the entryway.

If you take a right, you'll be in the kitchen.

This is the other side of the kitchen with the table and chairs. And highchairs, of course!!

The kids playroom is in the sunroom just off the kitchen.

At the backend is a 1/2 bath and the utility room and back door.

If you start back at the entryway and look to the left, you see down this hall.

The very first door on the left is the tv room. This is the one area we still need to reposition furniture and move some things out.

The next door, on the right, is the kids' room.

I found these paintings in a box and decided to hang them. They are made from the kids' handprints. Walt & Gordon have a tree with monkeys. Adele's drawing is a butterfly.

At the end of the hallway is our bedroom. We were able to fit all of our furniture, but it is a tight squeeze!

We have a bathroom attached.

We share the bathroom with the kids, so here are their towels hanging. From left to right, Walter, Gordon & Adele.

And this is the view from our bedroom, overlooking the river/Lough Derg.
