Sick kiddos

Gordon came down with a head cold on Monday and since my kids like to trade toys and/or straw cups, Adele and Walter were sick by Tuesday evening. Everyone seems to be congested and having headaches (I'm guessing) but no fevers or any other major symptoms. My fingers are crossed this is the worst of it!

All 3 kids are now pulling to stand. Adele and Gordon get 'stuck' and so we have to rescue them and help them down. But Walt just pitches himself backwards without a care. Our friend and neighbor, Shelly, brought over a few toys her kids outgrew. They are all Fisher Price and are a BIG hit with Team Berube. Adele cracks up at the cars going down the ramps. And they are all using this toy as a stand-up. In fact, the first time Adele pulled herself to stand outside of the bathroom (where they use the tub as leverage) was on this toy.

Like I said, lots of excitement!

All 3 of the kids have gotten into pushing cars around. Even Adele (of course, Walt had to make an appearance.)

I took this video to give a feel for the constant motion and action that is going on in this house. And they aren't even walking yet!!

I've been putting Sesame Street on the tv while we play and the kids are getting more from it than they used to. Adele has always loved Elmo, but her pure joy at seeing him now is just infectious.

Another triplet mom posted photos of her kids sharing a swing, so I decided to try it at our park. It worked! Since we only have 2 swings it was always a pain to leave one baby in the stroller, But that is fixed for now.

I have a bunch of photos and a few more videos to post, but I'll have to get to that later.

  1. Those videos are great! Looks like your babies know how to have a good time!
What is it about Elmo? My daughter loves him too... maybe it's the voice.
Love the swing idea, I may have to steal it :) (we only have 2 infant swings at our park).
