I'm 30 weeks pregnant today. This is another huge milestone and so let's all do a little happy dance. Well, I can't really dance, so I'll just 'woo-hoo'. Above is my 30w belly pic. I don't look so serious on purpose. I had to take about 10 photos before I got one to turn out. *shrug*
In other news, food changes seems to be keeping my blood sugar under control, so I'm being good and not cheating on the scheduled diet they have me on for the gestational diabetes. My protein levels went up with the collection they did yesterday, so I'm definitely not going home pregnant.
The babies are very active for the last week, moving almost all the time. We've heard Walter have hiccups on the monitor a few times and I think I felt some this morning. The nurses tell me this is a great sign for advanced lung development! We listen to their heart rates twice a day and all of the babies are beating strong and reactive.
We're still pulling for 32 weeks. Please keep those happy thoughts and prayers coming our way!
Happy dance! Happy dance! Wooo hooo for the big 3-0! Fingers crossed for at least two more weeks, and a healthy, happy family.

Cathy -- Thanks!! I'll take all the healthy & happy I can get.
ReplyDeleteIrish -- I both shudder at and pray for 12lb of baby!
Betty -- Love you, too! And it isn't quite the same as all of us going out to dance, but it'll do. *grin*
Jess -- wOOhOO! I can get behind they symbOlism. And bOld is always better!
Tonia -- Aww, thanks!! And, yes, mirror photos are always tricky.
ReplyDeleteT-- you know just the thing to say to brighten my morning.
Rosemary -- I think it is a combination of the haircolor & cut that really bring out my mom's features. I've kind of noticed that ever since I went short.
Angie -- LOL! I have to admit, I don't feel like a champ right now. More like a whale.
Jay -- Snoopy dance? That's awesome!! I have to admit, I am proud of my big ol belly. It means I'm doing something right. *grin*
Congrats! So happy for you! Praying for safe delivery and good health to you and the babies! =)
ReplyDeleteOooh, get back in bed, that looks like it hurts! Dancing by proxy = brilliant.
ReplyDeleteLucy -- Thank you so much for your prayers! I'm glad you stopped by.
ReplyDeleteAnn -- Dance away! I can't jiggle my belly like Santa. Babies protest too much.
I am so excited for you. I am sure that you cannot wait to hold those babies. I pray that you can hang in there a couple more weeks. You look great.
ReplyDeleteAunt Darlene
WOW. One tough lady. And you look so chilled out! You're almost there.
ReplyDeleteHappy Dance!!! Hang in there Joey!!
ReplyDeleteMichelle
Darlene -- I am getting SO excited to meet my babies. I can't wait to see what their personalities are!
ReplyDeleteLiz -- Thank you! I know, it is so close I can hardly believe it.
Michelle -- Hanging in!
