I was looking for things to do this weekend, and during my search, checked Groupon for a deal at the Children's Museum. While there, I noticed Makutu's Island had a Groupon going. I'd heard of it from friend's comments and Facebook posts. I took the deal and decided we could check it out on Saturday.

The morning was a little iffy. The place was HUGE and I could tell the kids were both overstimulated and overwhelmed. They kept getting lost and breaking down into tears. Finally, I went up with Adele into the play structure. That went really well. The place is actually big enough that it is designed for parents to accompany kids under five. We got everyone some lunch, then I went in with the kids. After a little while, they got the hang of things and went nuts playing on their own. Jeff and I hung out near where the slides dumped out and got the occasional high-five fly-by.

| Blurry Walter (blue shirt) heading into one of the tunnels you could climb under the tree. There were also ladders in the middle you could climb to many different levels. The whole thing is interconnected with the rest of the structures. |
