The Phoenix Zoo

A couple weeks ago, I bought a zoo membership. So we went today to check out the children's area. It's our third trip. The first time, we went to look at animals and ride the trains. Our second time, we only stayed for 30 minutes because it started pouring rain. 

Today, we went at lunchtime. We stopped and had sandwiches when we first walked in, then headed straight for the carousel.

The kids love the carousel, though Adele finds the music a little loud. 

When we first entered the children's trail/area of the zoo, we ran across a fun playground.

Walter wanted nothing to do with the smaller red tractor until he sat on the big tractor.

Walter was so gentle, just like he is with the cat.

There were turtles and ducks in the pond. When one of the turtles saw the kids, it swam over and climbed partway up a rock, sticking out its head. The kids loved it!
