I took the kids to a music class at the Ballina Quay Arts center here in town. My friends have been going for months and I'd tried to take the kids one other time, but never even made it out of the parking lot. This time we went and it was a HUGE success.
| All the kids were varying degrees of shy and upset when we first arrived. |
| As soon as the music started, Gordon was on his feet and dancing, even following all the movements the class leader was doing |
| Walt enjoyed himself immensely, too, dancing along. At this point, Adele was in my lap, but enjoyed being carried around or dancing with me to songs. |
| The props came out and Adele's shyness dropped away in an instant |
| It was hard to convince the kids they only needed one shaker |
| Can you see Adele's fascination for the class leader? *smile* |

| I love, love, love this photo. Walt was next to me, but they all three love Elmer the elephant. We have one of his books at home, so they were excited to see this book pulled out. |
| All three kids listening to Elmer's story |
| We then went into the other room for crafts. The kids got to make their own Elmer, the patchwork elephant. Gordon was really good at it and completely understood what he was supposed to do. |
| My kids weren't next to each other, so I was going back and forth between them. Another mom helped Walt out a bit, but overall the kids did amazing staying in their seats and working on their crafts and eating crackers. |

| After crafts, we went back in for the last few songs |
