Last night, Jeff and I grabbed burgers at McDonalds before heading to the nearby movie theatre to see "SkyFall." (which was amazing) While at McD's I noticed tiny tables and chairs and told Jeff that I wanted to bring the kids.
Right after breakfast, we loaded the kids in the car and headed to McD's. We walked them into the restaurant and led them to the area. They went right for the chairs.

| While waiting for our food, the kids wanted up to investigate the restaurant. We let them run around a bit since it was practically empty. They beelined for the balloons. Adele naming every color. |
 |
| Notice how Adele's hair is attracted to the balloon. LOL. |

| More play time |
 |
| I love how Adele and Walt are communicating about something. |
 |
| I ordered a ham & cheese toastie. Walt ate about half of it. My picky man loved the food. |

Gordon wanted only to play with his balloon and eat his crackers. He wanted nothing to do with any of the food we ordered.
McDonalds was a bit hit, but leaving was not. The boys were fine, but Adele threw a tantrum when we left. Then I set down my coffee in a dangerous place and the boys knocked it over in the car. Everyone calmed down when we got on the road. We got home and Jeff let the kids out to run around in the yard since it was so nice. Since it was chilly, I made them put their coats on, which Adele wanted no part of. She went into the house for a 15 minute tantrum before finally calming down and agreeing to wear her coat. Then more theatrics when we came in the house (this time from all 3 of them) and even more crying when I tried to start their lunch. We skipped lunch and put them down for naps. I think this was fine for Adele & Walt, who had a lot of food at McDonalds, but I'm sure Gordon was hungry.
The joys of toddlers!
