The kids have been fighting colds for almost 2 weeks. Plus the weather has been cold or rainy or both, so I haven't let them run around outside much. I mostly have worried about them getting wet and chilled.
Last night was horrible. For the first time since the kids were very young, they were up and down the entire night. I was in their room at least once an hour. I don't know if it is teething or what, but they were so whiny this morning. So after breakfast, I loaded them into the car and we did a coffee shop/shopping trip which killed most of the morning. They were entertained and so well behaved. Then when we came home, I let them out to run around. The ground was wet, but not enough to soak their shoes and we just put on dry pants when we came in the house.

| I love this photo because I can see the kids' personalities in each of their stances. My neighbor popped her head over the fence to comment on the amount of chatter and how much more vocal the kids have gotten just in the last couple of weeks. It is amazing how much they converse now (or try to.) |
A new game the kids like to play. They did this about 10 times. Walter and Adele were panting from all the work!
