First the kids spent almost 10 minutes sitting in their chairs and reading their cloth books
I had to flip the table over because Gordon wouldn't stop crawling on top of the tabletop.
And you know what upside down table means, right? Yup. Blanket Fort!!
Then Adele invented her own instrument -- Tea Cup Shaky Eggs.
We decided to brave the chilly wind and potential rain and head outside. We got lucky and avoided any downpours.
Walt decided to practice going up and down the steps some more.
Gordon found the hurling balls in the yard (left by the prior occupant's son) and was having a blast just carrying them around, throwing them, and saying "Ball. Ball. Ball."
Adele found a spot where she could kneel and play in the dirt. It was pretty wet, so she got quite muddy on her hands, face, and knees. Nothing a little soap can't take care of! But she was having so much fun throwing the mud in the air and laughing as the wind blew it everywhere.
So, that has been my day between breakfast and lunch. How was yours?

LOL - Gordon is gonna be your hands on boy. I love it! And Adele really does love those tea cups doesn't she. Of course Walt is the adventurous one... forging the path. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAs for the dirt. It's so much fun to play in the dirt and every kid needs at least one good picture covered head to toe in mud. Yay!
Awww - Thom used to say "ball, ball, ball!"
ReplyDeleteI'm tired just reading all this!
