Moving to Ireland -- the hotel

It has been a long time since I posted an update. Since my last posting, Team Berube sold their house, moved into a hotel for 9 days, then moved to our new home in Ballina, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. We've been here now for three weeks. First I wanted to show a little of the time we spent in the hotel. My parents came to help out, which was wonderful, but 3 babies and 4 adults in two hotel rooms is a big crowd! My mom said that was the hardest part for her. We tried to get out every day with the kids. And the hotel staff was wonderful. They had an eating area downstairs where we went for every breakfast and supper. With 3 highchairs!

The kids slept in little tents called "Pea Pod Plus." The pea pods worked perfectly and I'm sure we'll use them again in our travels.

We would take the kids over to look at the ducks in the nearby pond.
We also took them out many times to the mall for lunch and play time.

But sometimes, we just had to make do in the hotel room.

  2. LOL. You are a far far braver woman than I am!!! You rock! Well... Jeff too... and the parents. LOL. That is quite the feat to pull off! I know it had its hassles, but you did it without needing to be bailed out of jail. Yay!

  3. I've been waiting for these updates. We are looking at moving cross country and I feel so overwhelmed by it. So you are my personal hero right now. Can't wait to hear about the rest of the move.
