Gordon is starting to make up his own games to play. It is so cute to watch him do things like pick up a plastic ball, put it into a bucket, shake, and then grab another ball. He has 8 teeth now and his gums are swollen, so I know more are coming. He sometimes crawls, sometimes army crawls, and will stand holding onto his crib or the play yard. He's also mastered the sitting-from-crawling move and can now crawl to a toy, then plop his butt down to stay and play for a while.
Walter is into figuring out puzzles. He's working on stacking plastic rings. We also have a toy that you put in a small ball and it makes a noise and he's almost got that one solved, too. He's also army crawling, but he gets so proud when he gets on hands and knees and manages to crawl. He hasn't quite gotten from crawling to sitting yet, but he gets into full plank pose and is oh-so-close!
Adele has no interest in crawling. She still gets mad when she's forced to spend too much time on her tummy. She loves to sit and play. She is definitely the most vocal of our crew, both with us and just expressing herself out loud. She also is the best at holding her own bottle to drink. In fact, she seems to prefer that over using the bottle arms any more.
I can't believe there is only a little over a month until the kids' first birthday!
Now the fun part. Here's some photos.

Sunday morning eating our waffles and listening to Chillville on 101x. Gordon kept dancing in his chair to the music.
Gordon was checking out the cat on the other side of the play yard.
