Too tired...

I finally pulled a 'busy mom' and just grabbed whatever I could find to eat today and I'm SO paying for it with a decided lack of energy. I also had to take Adele for an optometry appointment and that also wears on me. She, however, did fantastic. Not only was she a completely adorable angel for the whole wait and doctor's visit, but her vision looks great. Now we'll see the dermatologist next week to verify her hemangioma is gone and then the optometrist again in August for a prescription check. Yay, Team Berube!

In other news, Gordon and Adele are sitting unassisted. Gordon sat for about a half minute today. Caught on video here:



Adele has only sat for a few seconds. Walter could totally sit, but he refuses to put his hands down to steady himself. He'd much rather chew on them.

We bought an exersaucer and the boys LOVE it. Here's Walt:

Adele hasn't quite figured this one out yet, but I'm sure she'll get it soon. She, however, is super chatty these days.

Sometimes her 'chatting' can help express her displeasure. And Gordon discovered a new (very annoying) noise...

Though Adele was happy once she got to sit with her mommy for a while.
We're taking walks every morning, so I went ahead and bought the babies new hats. These ones have sun protection built into the fabric.
But even at 9-10am, they get hot on their walks and like to cool off afterwards.
