No big news

No big news, but that's probably a good thing! It is hard to believe that I scheduled the babies' six month appointment. They are 5 1/2 months old now. Adele's eye and reflux are much better. We tried stepping back her medication from Prilosec to Zantac, but that was a disaster. She's back on the Prilosec and a much happier baby. The babies are also settling into their naps a little better. I still can't get them to sleep much longer than 45 minutes on average, but if I get 45 minutes where they are all down, that works out okay. I have a feeling sleeping is going to get tough when they start teething and learning to crawl. A lot of things will probably get tough then! I'm already mentally figuring out how I want to close off certain rooms so I have 'safe' places for the kiddos to be. With three of them, I can't just carry the baby with me everywhere so once they start moving around on their own... Well, you can imagine.

Here's a couple of laughter videos that I took. Here's Adele:

And here's Gordon:

I have two triple strollers. One is for neighborhood walks and the other folds up into the trunk of the minivan. Here are the kids in their new hats as we head out for a walk.
Here's Daddy (Jeff) getting Walt and Adele ready for bed the other night. Gordon was already down in his crib.
The babies were all wearing cute outfits today, so I had to snap a photo.
It is starting to warm up here, so I have a feeling the babies are going to spend a lot of time cooling off just like this.
Walt got so tired he fell asleep before baths that night.

Adele likes to curl herself up into a ball when she eats

  1. Love the videos. All three babies are doing so well and are so cute.
I read about little Linus. What a horrible ordeal. Makes you grateful for healthy babies, I know. I am adding Linus to our parish prayer list. Hoping and praying he will be OK.

  2. Just FYI, Mary, Linus made it through his surgery. They decided to repair his valve vs. replace, so he is now in recovery mode. They were updating on facebook all day yesterday, but haven't updated the blog yet.

  3. Thanks for the info, Joey. Glad to read he made it through the surgery and they did the repair rather than replacement. Maybe it will be easier for him to recover from the less drastic procedure. Hope he is doing OK and his family as well.
Take care and hug your three little ones for us.
