Is it February already?
It is hard to believe we have made it this far and remained (mostly) sane. The babies will be 4 months old on Friday, February 4th and they'll have their 4 months check up. Our only hiccups along the way (not counting the lack of sleep) are Adele and Walter's reflux, Gordon's horrible case of cradle cap, and Adele's vascular hemangioma on the eyelid. Walter and Adele both sleep elevated and take medication for their reflux. We have a regimen for treating Gordon's scalp that seems to be helping, but mostly he just needs time. Adele is going to be seen by an opthomologist to see if her vision is affected by the hemangioma. It is a bump on her eyelid that looks like a black eye and keeps her from opening the eyelid all the way. If her vision is unaffected, we'll just let time do its job since the mark will eventually disappear.
The babies are cooing, talking, and playing now. The grandparents help a lot here!
Here's a quick video of each of the babies cooing. First up is Walter, who is a little camera shy. *grin*
Next is Gordon. This one is pretty dark, but you can hear him chattering away.
Finally we have Adele. Hers is also a little dark, but you can hear her. Each of the babies definitely have their own 'voice.'
I dressed the babies up in Han & Chewie onesies to show that we are raising proper Star Wars fans. *grin* We make sure they get their tummy time in every day. They are starting to really interact with each other and their toys. Aunt Julie bought them some adorable outfits. So we dressed them all up in them one day and I made sure I got photos. Here's Walter posing. And Gordon showing off: And Adele we caught napping.
Awwwww!!!! So cute. And getting so big. Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're just so adorable! Wish I could reach over and squeeze them! =D
