Everybody is home and happy! Well, except for poor Dad who had to fly to Phoenix for a meeting. But he'll be home today.
The nights, of course, are exhausting, but I've been having exhausting nights since about week 18 of my pregnancy. But my days are a lot less tiring. Not having to drive to the hospital every day is so nice. I can't imagine how Jeff must feel! He was at that hospital almost every day for over 2 months.
Here's our last family photo as NICU patients.

Here's Walter, ready to leave the NICU

And here's Gordon. These two were released on Monday, Nov 1st at exactly 4 weeks of age.

Adele got to come home just a few days later, on Wednesday, Nov 4th. Here she is with our primary care nurse, Jeannie, and the lactation consultant who helped us all out a whole bunch, Belinda.

When I brought the boys home, the cats weren't sure what to think. Here's Earl, meeting Walter and Gordon on Monday the 1st.

Finally, the whole gang is back together last night, Nov 4th.
I love it! Especially the closeup of Walter in his seat - looking at the world. I'm so happy they are all home with you now. Of course this means the fun really starts. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for you guys!

They look nice and content in their boppies. Hard to believe that they did so well in just 4 weeks.
ReplyDeleteAunt Rosemary.
Woo-hoo! A huge step for baby feet. (Especially baby feet in oversized footie pjs.)
ReplyDeleteYay! Their development has been phenomenal. So adorable on their Boppies.
ReplyDeleteIf that's your dining room in the pic with Earl, you might want to rethink the whole carpet idea in the next six months or so before they start eating solids. Or maybe just spread out a shower curtain or two... ;-)

Awwwwwww... Earl is a cute little guy too, with his little fuzzy paws, being all curious. Your smile looks so much like your mom's in the first picture!
ReplyDeleteLet the party begin. This is awesome news. Walter, Gordon, and Adele look so cute and I want to give them all a big kiss. Joey you do not look like you just had triplets..GO GIRL! Love to talk to you soon but I have an idea that you are a little busy right now.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Tonia
These photos are great. How are the kitties adapting to all the new little people in their lives? Adele definitely looks happier at home with the gang! :) We know you are enjoying having the babies home together. Have fun!!
