This week I had appointments with both my OB (who focuses on my health) and my perinatal (who focuses on the baby's health). All 4 of us checked out great! For me, blood pressure, cervix length, and overall well-being made my OB happy enough to give me another 2 week pass of restricted activity vs. bedrest.More interesting is the baby's development. On the day I am 25 weeks, 6 days pregnant, the babies are all measuring large -- between 26w1D and 26w3D. Baby A (boy) weighs 2lb, Baby B (boy) weighs 1lb 14oz and Baby C (girl) weighs 2lb.
The photos show (From upper left, heading clockwise): Baby B & Baby C plotting with their heads together, Baby A's profile, with his head on the right side and hand near his face (if you squint you can see Baby B's feet in the background), Baby B's profile (which I hadn't seen in weeks because he's been facing my back), and Baby C's profile with her head on the left.
Keep your fingers crossed and keep sending your good thoughts and prayers. They seem to be working!
WooHoo! Excellent reports all around. I'm very happy to hear it. I'll do the happy dance for you so you don't bounce around ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! What fun to see the Babies! Of course they will like to go to the movies, look who their parents are!!

T -- I appreciate it. The happy dance would kill my knees right now.
ReplyDeleteLinda -- Thanks! And I shouldn't be surprised by their love (early as it is) of movies. *grin*
Ooh, your very own plotting party :)
ReplyDeleteAlmost 6 lbs of baby already. Whoa. Good thing you have a little longer to do your weightlifting in preparation.
Keep up the good work!
Great news

Jess -- I swear I feel like I'm carrying 20lb of baby alone. I'll be happy when I get through this pregnancy fuzz brain and then the early sleep deprivation stages so that I can feel comfortable opening an ms again. I miss it, but I don't trust myself to piece together words right now -- much less notice mistakes!
ReplyDeleteSue -- Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the news this week. *grin*
We are so happy things are going well with you and the babies. Glad you are still able to be up and active, too. The ultrasound photos are just so fascinating.

Mary -- I love that one blessing with having triplets is the many times you get to see them through ultrasound. I've been able to watch every step of their growth. I'm also grateful for being allowed to be up and about (though not too often).
